Invisible, as music,
But positive, as sound.
It beckons and it baffles;

Her work, largely unpublished and unknown during her lifetime, has since positioned her among the greatest American poets. Although she seldom left her home, her poetry delved deeply into themes of death, immortality, nature, and human consciousness. My life closed twice before its close;
It yet remains to see
If Immortality unveil
A third event to me,
