Gordon Bottomley

Gordon Bottomley was an influential British poet and playwright associated with the Georgian Poetry movement. Born in Keighley, Yorkshire, he wrote many plays in verse and was known for his diverse thematic range and vivid imagery. Despite battling illness for much of his life, Bottomley's works, such as „The Crier by Night“, left a significant mark on early 20th-century English literature.
