Ronald Ross
Sir Ronald Ross was a British medical doctor who is known for his pioneering work in discovering the malaria parasite in the Anopheles mosquito. This crucial discovery laid the foundation for combating malaria. His work earned him the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine in 1902. Although primarily a doctor, Ross also wrote numerous poems and plays. He passed away in 1932.
